The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978), directed by Steve Binder, follows Chewbacca and Han Solo as they journey to Kashyyyk to celebrate "Life Day" with Chewbacca's family, including his wife Malla, son Lumpy, and father Itchy. Meanwhile, the Empire is hunting for members of the Rebellion, adding tension to the festivities. The special features appearances by original cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Anthony Daniels, along with Bea Arthur and Art Carney in guest roles.
