Gladiator w/Mark Ponte

This week, our good friend Mark Ponte joins us as we write songs about the Ridley Scott film, Gladiator! 

Two new songs: "The Gladiator" and "Love Me" 

Gladiator (2000), directed by Ridley Scott, follows the story of Maximus Decimus Meridius (Russell Crowe), a betrayed Roman general who becomes a gladiator to seek revenge against the corrupt Emperor Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix) who murdered his family. As he rises through the ranks of the arena, Maximus fights for justice and honor, aiming to restore Rome's former glory. The film also stars Connie Nielsen, Oliver Reed, and Richard Harris.
